To coincide with Japan House London’s current exhibition ‘The Carpenters’ Line’, Japan House London is offering the chance for one lucky visitor to win a private guided tour of The Carpenters’ Line exhibition, a choice of dinner or lunch with cocktails for two at AKIRA Restaurant (Tuesday to Thursday), one set of Yamaha E700A noise-cancelling headphones and a £50 gift card to spend in The Shop at Japan House London as part of an Instagram competition.

Our current exhibition - The Carpenters’ Line: Woodworking Heritage in Hida Takayama explores Hida’s legacy of skill and innovation through a series of installations focusing on woodworking techniques and materials, technology and innovation, products and the people whose livelihoods depend on working with the natural materials of their local environment. The prize winner will also have the chance to sample our limited-edition exhibition cocktail inspired by the dense forests of the region, which is served warm.

To enter the prize draw, simply do the following two things by midnight on Sunday 8 January 2023:
