Venue Hire

Japan House London’s diverse rooms are available for hire to organisations, bodies and companies whose activities support and promote Japanese culture, society and business. We provide a unique London location for events ranging from conferences and film screenings, to receptions, meetings and informal gatherings.

Hall

The Hall is situated on the lower ground floor. With retractable tiered seating and a large built-in screen, this flexible space is ideal for small conferences, seminars, live performances and film screenings for an audience of 80 – 130 people. Without the tiered seating, the room provides an ideal space for an informal gathering, a reception for up to 130 guests, or a dinner for up to 100.

Gallery

The Gallery is located on the lower ground floor. Owing to its spacious and open style, the Gallery provides an ideal setting for receptions and informal gatherings for 80 – 100 guests.

Library

The Library can be found on the lower ground floor. Located in the central area between the Gallery and Hall, the Library provides an area that is ideal for meetings, talks, workshops and tastings, for an audience of up to 20 people.

Tatami Room

The Tatami Room is positioned on the first floor. With seating that accommodates up to eight guests, the Tatami Room is an intimate space that’s perfect for smaller meetings, dinners or tastings.
