Japan House London’s diverse spaces are available for private hire to our Corporate Members and organisations whose activities support and promote Japanese cultures, society and business.
Set in a stunning Art Deco building in the heart of Kensington, our minimalist, versatile venue offers the perfect blank canvas for any event. The Ground Floor is a social retail space, offering a range of high-quality Japanese goods displayed in a gallery-like setting with a café stand serving refreshments. On the First Floor, the Japanese restaurant AKIRA is complemented by the private Tatami Room. The Lower Ground Floor is home to the Gallery, the Hall and the Library - each individual in its size and range of uses. Japan House London provides a unique and prestigious backdrop for a variety of events, including conferences, meetings, drinks receptions, product launches, fashion shows and dinners.
