Thinking of planning a trip to Japan in 2023?  

Guests of Japan House London can discover and discuss ideas for their next Japanese adventure by visiting the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) Travel Zone area on our Ground Floor. The Travel Zone at Japan House London is staffed by JNTO employees to offer our guests guidance and recommendations on where to visit, and providing consultations on a first-come first-served basis.  

To celebrate the New Year, Japan House London and Visit Japan UK (JNTO) are offering guests the opportunity to win one of three ‘lucky bags’, also known as ‘fukubukuro’, as part of a Facebook giveaway competition. 

The winner of the top prize will receive a ‘fukubukuro’ lucky bag worth £103. Two runners-up will win a lucky bag – one with a value of £53 and the other with a value of £23. In addition to the bag, the winners will also receive JNTO materials including travel guides & maps, phrasebook, notebook, pen, travel set, Japanese omamori charm with lip balm and sensu fan. 

To Enter the Draw

To enter the prize draw, simply do the following three things by Sunday 15 January 2023:

  1. Like Japan House London on Facebook
  2. Like Visit Japan UK (JNTO) on Facebook
  3. Leave a comment on this Facebook post telling us which region you'd like to travel to in 2023 and why.

The winners will be selected at random and will be notified by direct message on Facebook after the giveaway has ended. See here for terms and conditions.
