Straight from the Brewery: Visit to Takahashi Sukesaku Shuzoten & Tasting

About Urakasumi Sake Brewery

Takahashi Sukesaku Shuzoten, Nagano Prefecture

Shinshu available for tasting: Matsuwo Junmai Ginjo Madarao Sankei-nishiki

Takahashi Sukesaku Shuzoten is located in northern Nagano Prefecture, in an area popular with domestic and international tourists who come for the mountain views, ski resorts, and hot springs. The brewery is focused on establishing the ‘terroir’ of its sake, by crafting its line-up of sake using spring water originating from a source in the local Togakushi Shrine and rice produced locally by contracted farmers.
