Textilmuseum St. Gallen presents:
MAKING NUNO
Japanese Textile Innovation from Sudō Reiko

The exhibition MAKING NUNO Japanese Textile Innovation from Sudō Reiko, which was on display at Japan House London from 17 May to 11 July 2021, is now available to see at Textilmuseum in St. Gallen, Switzerland until 18 September 2022. The exhibition presents the extraordinary, innovative work of Sudō Reiko, the celebrated Japanese textile designer and Design Director of leading textile design firm Nuno.
Visitors to the exhibition at Textilmuseum can see five large-scale installations that plainly demonstrate the complex production process involved in the materials designed by Sudō Reiko. Drawings, sketches, raw materials and design prototypes accompany the installations.
Find out more about visiting the exhibition on the Textilmuseum website.
MAKING NUNO is an exhibition by Centre for Heritage, Arts and Textile (CHAT), Hong Kong, produced in association with Japan House London.
