Bonsai display with Saruyama Bonsai

As the Royal Horticultural Society’s annual Chelsea Flower Show arrives a short distance from Kensington High Street, Japan House London marks the season with a rotating display of bonsai on the Ground Floor. Each week, until 5 June, a rotation of miniature trees is displayed in the window, offering insight into the intricate practice of shaping and cultivating bonsai.

Encounter species such as the Trident Maple and Japanese Black Pine, some of which are over 100 years old, cared for by the experts at Saruyama Bonsai.

Explore the Gardening Collection in store or online, featuring a considered selection of tools and accessories from Japan, ideal for those seeking inspiration for their own green spaces.
