Over the past year, more than 500,000 visitors came through the doors of Japan House London to explore exhibitions, attend events and discover ideas from Japan.

From ‘The Craft of Carpentry’ and ‘Pictograms’ to ‘Hyakkō’, our exhibitions brought together makers, collaborators and audiences from across Japan, UK and beyond.

We continued an ongoing collaboration with Japan’s diverse regions, and celebrated the return of Grand Sumo Tournament to London through a series of special events.

Thank you to our visitors, partners, supporters and team for this fruitful year. This year in review reflects the many people who have shaped Japan House London as a space for learning and exchange.
