Most events will have seating available depending on the type of event. If this is not the case we are always able to provide seats when requested.

For most events you are able to come and go without restriction.

If an event does include any loud noises or flashing lights, this will be indicated on the What’s On webpage and via signs onsite at the time of the event.
Are there intervals during your events?
This will be dependent on the specific event and will be advertised ahead of the event.

Captioning is not provided as standard, if you require this for any event, please do make this request of us ahead of attendance.
Are there seats in exhibitions that can be used?
Fixed seating is not always available for exhibitions, however we do have stools available from the visitor experience team on request.
Are there ways to avoid queues for anyone who is unable to stand for long periods of time?
We do not have any facility in place for avoidance of queues, however, if you do have any need to sit down at any point, please do inform a member of the visitor experience team.

Do you have hearing loops?
Yes. Portable induction loops are available for events and screenings held in the Hall, our multi-use event space.
Speak to a member of our team at the lobby desk outside the Hall, and they will be happy to provide you with a portable loop. Simply switch your hearing aid to the ‘T’ (telecoil) setting once you have it.
