The Ceremonies of the Accession to the Throne of His Majesty The Emperor take place on 22 October 2019. 

During the Sokuirei-Seiden-no-gi (Ceremony of the Enthronement), His Majesty The Emperor proclaims his enthronement and is offered congratulations from 200  heads of state and other dignitaries from around the globe.

In commemoration of the Enthronement of His Majesty The Emperor Naruhito, Japan House London is celebrating with special screenings.
