Orihime 2 1000x543

From Thursday 17 October until October 31, visitors to The Shop at Japan House London have the opportunity to engage with the robot called ‘Orihime’ on the following dates:

Thursday 17 October, 14:00-15:00
Saturday 19 to Sunday 20 October, 15:30-16:30
Wednesday 23 to Sunday 27, 15:30-16:30
Wednesday 30 to Thursday 31, 16:00-17:00

Explore the range of gestures and human emotions that OriHime can express by controlling the robot directly and interacting with other people.

OriHime’s face is inspired by masks used in the Japanese Noh theatre. Seemingly expressionless, such masks can portray a multitude of emotions through the skills of the performer interacting and the power of the audience’s imagination.

The event is free to attend and is available for all visitors who drop into The Shop.
