 Oiwa Chokin presents a toreutics workshop as part of BIOLOGY OF METAL exhibition at Japan House London until 28 Oct 2018 Tsubame Sanjo Factory Festival Committee 2

In this workshop led by Oiwa Nobuo, a master craftsman from Oiwa Chokin, each participant will have the opportunity to create their own leaf-shaped chopstick rest using a professional engraving chisel.

About the Maker:

Established in 1975 as a producer of metal casts for manufacturing cutlery, Oiwa Chokin is renowned for their metal processing and chasing expertise. Their original product, a leaf-shaped chopstick rest, was awarded the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award in the Craft Division by the National Souvenir Selection Committee.
