Director General Michael Houlihan and the Team at Japan House London join the nation and the rest of the world in mourning the loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The Royal Family of the United Kingdom and the Imperial Family of Japan have long shared a deep relationship. Her Majesty the Queen, accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, visited Japan in 1975, the first British monarch to do so.
