"“It is only me who has been fixated on this issue... If I want to change, I can.” This was what I realised while working from home. Experiencing a ‘new routine,’ I have been able to assess things that need to change and things that should stay the same with greater clarity than before. I realise that as a designer, I have been living a non-stop lifestyle. While the same thoughts were piling up in my mind each day, I decided to embrace my current situation and make some changes. My life is different to how it was three months ago. It is as though I am living in someone else’s shoes. With this in mind, I set myself some goals:
1. Observe the slight changes in my new routine and make sure they are not overlooked.
2. Make sure that I adjust to the changes.
3. Be prepared to act on the new ideas that come about as a result.
In the current climate, it is difficult to sustain my creativity. However, thinking ahead to the future, I believe that I will now be able to do my work."
