Executive Director and Chief Curator of the Centre for Heritage, Arts and Textile (CHAT) in Hong Kong, Takahashi Mizuki, presented a talk on the transcultural aspects of Japanese cultures and their impact on non-Japanese artists.
Addressing subjects including reciprocal cultural influence between Japan and the rest of the world, gender and cultural politics, and social matters of current importance, Takahashi Mizuki has worked extensively as a contemporary art curator in Japan on exhibitions focussing on manga, architecture, performance, film, music and visual art.
