

Kimono
Kimono are one of the most well-known garments which originate from Japan. They were first worn as an undergarment by aristocracy, or as simple covering by the lower classes, until 16th century when they became the most common form of dress for all levels of society. Japan House introduces contemporary kimono designers such as Takahashi Hiroko as well as the textile fabrics uses to make these timeless garments.
