

Hida
Hida-Takayama is a city in Gifu Prefecture, a mountainous area home to abundant forests and a long history of wooden furniture production. The area's wood crafting history began roughly 1,300 years ago, since which time its craftspeople have been honing and perfecting their innovative skills with wood.
